"SEX POT REVENGE" is 2004 project's debut album. Officially released on sept. 11 2024 and actually released on oct. 24 2024, it stands as a 65-minutes length album made out of 10 tracks, all taking inspirations from different genres derived of rock.
This album came as the first choice to be the project's debut album for a simple reason: its diversity. Each track utilizes a variety of elements coming from vastly different genres, while keeping a common J-pop sonorities making it really accessible to non-rock listeners. From the funky rhythms of the very agressive "Esclave Volontaire" riff to the shoegazy tones of Suzie's bridge guitars, influences all add up to each passage of the songs to make each of them shine through their very own sound. It will be hard not too like at least one of the songs!
Despite its weird title, "SEX POT REVENGE" holds a common sound and very serious subjects throughout the songs. Besides the many jokes, the energic punk texture shared by all the songs support the many topics of suicie, depression, automutilation and loneliness. How does it manage to do that? You'll have to check out for yourself!
