Motivation Letter:

Dear Manager,

Having had the chance to move in the UK, the home of many world-reknowned arts, fashion - especially vintage - particularly resonated with me. This is the reason why, when I learned your shop was hiring for new sellers, I was happy to submit to you my own application, and would very much like to be considered a strong candidate.

In this position, I will be able to utilize the experience I gained when working as a breakfast supervisor and manager in So'Co Hotel by HappyCulture. In this capacity, I was in charge of welcoming the clients, ensure their experience in the hotel was great and all their needs were fulfilled, while, at the same time, filling any lackings in the buffet and taking care of all of the involved rooms and machines' maintenance, a task that included, amongst others; cleaning the tables, cleaning the machines' components, tidying up the buffet, vacuuming, or mopping.

My role in this hotel also led me responsibility upon most breakfast-related administration; verifying the payments, or counting the number of clients from each room - a role that sometimes extended to more general tasks such as managing deliveries or cleaning up multiple floors, as I worked in association with the receptionist at the head of the hotel.

My other professional experiences - Seller at GAME BOX NICE or private tutoring - included many similar tasks, overall all emphasizing on payment gestion and positive communication, amongst others.

Most of my prior experience greatly relates to the position of seller, specifically when it comes to customer support, needs understanding and fulfilling; however, I look forward to learning more about the fascinating world of fashion, a world that I have already been familiar with for some time, but not long enough to know all about of. Given the opportunity, I deeply think my eager to learn more can only lean working altogether to a better experience for clients, and for the both of us.

I would be more than happy to participate in a personal interview if needed to get a better grasp upon the person I am and what I can provide to your shop.

Sincerely yours,

Raphaël Jossin

Bonus: Here is a sample of some vintage tops I got!
